Cancellation policy

SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION POLICY

This policy applies to all subscription plans offered by Marshaal, including Starter, Basic, Premium, Pro, Silver, and Gold packages.


1. CANCELLATION RIGHTS

When You Can Cancel:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 1 day before your next billing date
  • Cancellations submitted after this deadline will take effect in the following billing cycle

How to Cancel:

  • Email us at info@marshaal.com with your account details and cancellation request
  • Include your store name and subscription plan in the email
  • You will receive confirmation within 24-48 hours

2. REFUND POLICY

Monthly Subscriptions:

  • No refunds for partial months or services already rendered
  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will continue to have access to all features until the subscription expires

Setup Fees (One-Time):

  • Setup fees are non-refundable once work has begun
  • This includes initial store setup, product uploads, logo design, and configuration

Completed Services:

  • The following are non-refundable once delivered:
    • Logo design and revisions
    • Professional photography sessions
    • Video production
    • Social media posts already published
    • Advertising campaigns already launched
    • SEO work already completed
    • Custom content design

3. EU CONSUMER RIGHTS (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

For EU Customers:

  • You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription purchase
  • IMPORTANT: By activating your subscription and requesting immediate service delivery (store setup, logo design, etc.), you expressly waive your 14-day withdrawal right under EU consumer protection law
  • This waiver applies only when service delivery begins immediately upon your request

To Exercise Withdrawal Right (Before Service Begins):

  • Email info@marshaal.com within 14 days of purchase
  • Full refund of subscription fees (excluding any completed work)
  • Setup fees are refundable only if no work has been performed

4. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER CANCELLATION

Immediate Effects:

  • Billing stops at the end of the current period
  • No further charges will be made
  • You retain access to all features until the subscription expires

After Subscription Expires:

  • Your store will be deactivated (not deleted)
  • Store data is retained for 30 days in case you wish to reactivate
  • After 30 days, your store may be permanently deleted
  • You can export your data before expiration by contacting us

Reactivation:

  • You may reactivate your subscription at any time within 30 days
  • A new setup fee may apply if reactivating after 30 days
  • Contact info@marshaal.com to reactivate

5. DOWNGRADING OR UPGRADING

Downgrade:

  • You may downgrade to a lower plan at any time
  • Downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle
  • Features will be adjusted to match the new plan
  • No refunds for the difference in price

Upgrade:

  • You may upgrade to a higher plan at any time
  • Upgrade takes effect immediately
  • You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle
  • Next billing will be at the new plan rate

How to Change Plans:

  • Email info@marshaal.com with your desired plan change
  • We will process the change and confirm via email

6. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Setup fees (once work has begun)
  • Completed logo design work
  • Professional photography sessions (completed)
  • Video production (completed)
  • Published social media content
  • Launched advertising campaigns
  • Domain registration fees
  • SSL certificates
  • Third-party service fees (hosting, apps, etc.)
  • Custom development work (completed)

7. PAUSING SUBSCRIPTIONS

Temporary Pause:

  • You may request to pause your subscription for up to 3 months
  • Your store will be deactivated during the pause period
  • No charges will be made during the pause
  • Contact info@marshaal.com to request a pause

Reactivation After Pause:

  • Email us to reactivate at any time
  • Billing resumes immediately upon reactivation
  • All features and data will be restored

8. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL

Auto-Renewal:

  • All subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly basis
  • You will be charged on the same day each month
  • You will receive a reminder email 7 days before each billing date

Stopping Auto-Renewal:

  • Cancel your subscription at least 1 day before the next billing date
  • Follow the cancellation process in Section 1

9. FAILED PAYMENTS

Payment Failures:

  • If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your card 3 times over 7 days
  • You will receive email notifications for each failed attempt
  • If all attempts fail, your subscription will be suspended

Suspension:

  • Your store will be deactivated
  • You have 14 days to update payment information
  • After 14 days, your subscription will be cancelled

Reactivation After Suspension:

  • Update your payment method
  • Pay any outstanding balance
  • Contact info@marshaal.com to reactivate

10. TERMINATION BY MARSHAAL

We May Terminate Your Subscription If:

  • You violate our Terms of Service
  • You engage in fraudulent activity
  • You fail to pay outstanding balances
  • Your store violates laws or regulations

Notice:

  • We will provide 7 days' notice before termination (except for serious violations)
  • No refunds will be provided for terminated subscriptions

11. DATA RETENTION AFTER CANCELLATION

30-Day Grace Period:

  • Your store data is retained for 30 days after cancellation
  • You may request a data export during this period

After 30 Days:

  • All store data may be permanently deleted
  • We are not responsible for data loss after this period

Data Export:

  • Request a data export by emailing info@marshaal.com
  • We will provide your data in a standard format (CSV, JSON, etc.)

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Subscription Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our subscription services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
